On Sunday 11th November, Durham Volunteer Police Cadets took part in the annual Remembrance Day Parade. This year was the 100 year anniversary of the First World War armistice.
The Cadets have taken part in the parade for the last 4 years, this year was the largest contingent of Cadets to take part with 55 marching alongside the Durham Constabulary contingent.
The contingent included the Chief Constable, Deputy Chief Constable, Assistant Chief Constable, current Police Constables, and new Polcie Constable recruits undergoing their initial training.
Sgt Urwin, Durham Volunteer Police Cadet Leader, was the drill Sgt for the Durham Constabulary contingent and said "it was an honour to be part of the parade again this year and I am very proud with the number of cadets attending the parade to pay their respects."
